• Avoid Makeup for 72 hours
• If you have RESCUE Calming Blam (this will be applied to you on the day of your appointment), begin applying as needed after the first 24 hours to help soothe and calm the skin. RESCUE was specifically formulated for post-micro needling.
• Strictly avoid sun exposure the day of the procedure as you will not be wearing sunscreen. You may return to sunscreen use 24 hours following the procedure. Continue to minimize sun exposure for 72 hours post-procedure.
• Avoid strenuous exercise perspiration for 72 hours post-procedure, as excess blood flow and sweat can cause discomfort and irritation to compromised skin.
• Avoid using any active skincare topical products, such as retinoids, vitamin C etc. for the first week after the SkinPen Precision procedure to reduce the risk of irritation.
• Please keep your skin well hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
• Please refrain from waxing, tanning, or using sunbeds for four weeks.
• You may experience some dryness and flakiness 4-5 days post-treatment, lasting another 4-5 days, which is normal throughout the healing process. In some cases, the skin can feel almost sunburnt. This sensation lasts between 5-7 days.
